I am living a vibrant and healthy life.

I breathe in and know that my life is fit and vivacious because I make it that way.

I love feeling healthy and energetic. I can enjoy every moment of my day because I just feel good. I feel this way because I take care of myself through proper rest, nutrition, and exercise. When I take care of myself, I gain an intense energy and enthusiasm for the day and my life.

There have been times when I didn’t want to exercise, or when I chose unhealthy foods, and that’s okay. That was my yesterday; it doesn’t have to be my today.

I am strengthened and empowered when I do what I need to do to take care of myself. I feel better as my body is nourished and active — I feel alive! The positive energy within me radiates joyfully like the sun.

The sunlight shining from my smile feels like an electric current. My energy is high and I can achieve all my goals. When I am feeling low, I spend a few minutes exercising my body and mind. I then immediately feel recharged. The people around me can feel my energy. It seems that when I am a bright light, others respond positively and they, too, are more vibrant. My positive attitude is contagious!

Today I choose to nourish my body and mind so I may continue to feel healthy and alive. I am taking care of myself so I can be full of life and joy for others.

3. What do I feel like after I exercise and take care of myself?

I motivate myself to exercise regularly and keep in motion.

I am a winner with my stress-relieving exercise plan. There are no excuses for me because I know that my routine has been helpful and needs to continue.

I have conquered and dismissed the idea that exercise is a chore. I have mastered the regimen of staying fit. Fitness is no longer a luxury for those who can afford it, but a necessity that enables me to live a long and full life.

I view the hard-breathing activity now as a part of a stress-free life, and it feels so good to use it each day to clear my mind.

I am now in charge of my physical destiny and I realize the tremendous benefit that my mind receives with each workout.

The world is not totally aware of this amazing gem, but I have made up my mind to stand out from the crowd. I choose to be strong and healthy so I may live a healthy and vibrant life.

I am on a positive path and I will persist on my life journey. I don’t seek to impress, but rather, I do this for me!

My mind is made up and I want to spread the word that exercise is the best gift you can give to yourself. I reluctantly accepted it, but I am so glad I did.

It is easy for me to focus on healthy solutions.

Because I seek solutions that lead to greater understanding and healthier relationships, I focus on attacking the problem, not the person.

I recognize that we are all affected by a multitude of factors, and any number of things could be contributing to the issue at hand.

I am mature enough to set aside any initial hurtful desires so that I can take the time to gain understanding of the issues involved.

I value my relationships for the richness they add to my life. The quality of these relationships greatly enhances my enjoyment of life as well as my productivity.

Quality relationships are carefully crafted over time. Because I want my relationships to be of the highest quality possible, I take the time and make the effort to nurture and develop them, even when it’s difficult.

I recognize that others have feelings and ideas as valid as my own.

Since I know that life only moves forward, and we cannot turn back the clock, I am careful to speak only words that lead to greater understanding and better relationships.

I receive the energy to free my body from addiction.

When I allow myself to believe I am more than my impulses, I receive the energy I need to free my body from addiction.

I know that ridding myself of addiction is a lifelong challenge, but I also know that it gets easier to hold at bay the longer I continue to resist.

Those days when I feel like I can barely hang on, I am strengthening the inner muscles of my mind and spirit so that similar challenges in the future will not seem as difficult or draining.

Each temptation is an inner workout. I acknowledge the muscle burn, but I forge on because I know that doing so is the only way to build up my strength.

I am confident that success leads to more success. Freeing myself from addiction is like running up a winding, rocky road. I push through the exhaustion and take the next step because I know that each time I do, I am a little closer to my goal.

I am not afraid to ask for help. Just as athletes have trainers, I also take advantage of those people who are able and willing to support and encourage me as I tackle this challenge.

For my advisors, I choose people who know what it’s like to struggle and stretch, to grow and win, so that I may use their wisdom to overcome my challenges.

2. Do I believe, and act on the belief, that standing strong this time will make it easier to do so next time?
3. Do I make use of others out there who can support me and help me strengthen my inner muscles?

I give myself permission to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit.

I have the freedom to lavishly nourish my body, mind and spirit. It is more than okay for me to pamper my body with massages and skin moisturizers. It is more than okay for me to indulge my mind in a great book. It is more than okay for me to spend time building myself up in prayer.

To nurture my body, I regularly take time to exercise. My exercise routine, combined with a healthy diet, is my recipe for a better me.

Getting a full night of restful, uninterrupted sleep is also a priority that contributes to my physical health. I top all of this off with good habits, which include keeping toxins out of my system.
 
My mind is the starting line of my thoughts, feelings and actions; therefore I must cultivate it. I challenge my mind daily. My schedule always has room for a good read. 

My mind is trained to focus on delightful things. I protect my eyes, ears and heart from negativity by limiting the time I spend in front of the TV. Instead, I go outside and take in the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. 

I maintain a healthy spirit by feeding it a balance diet of love and reflection. Reflecting helps me identify and avoid situations that have a negative impact on my spirit. I spend my time doing the things I love. I am sensitive to the spirit within me and listen to its voice.

It is more than okay for me to have a healthy mind, body and spirit because the trio helps me to live my best life.

I make positive choices for the best of my body, mind and soul.

I am happier and more productive when I am healthier. For this reason, I make positive choices for the best of my body, mind, and spirit.

I start by eating right. Even though it takes longer and may cost a little more, my body deserves quality foods that will help me be healthier, feel better, and even live a more prosperous life. I am a part of nature and I choose to eat as close to nature as possible, choosing whole, fresh foods whenever I can.

I have let go of my craving for processed foods because I know cravings subside after a few short days of healthy eating.

I also choose to exercise regularly. It doesn’t have to be a formal program at the gym, but it can be something as simple as walking with my partner or children after dinner. I make a point of getting my body moving each day.

I exercise my mind. Although, there’s nothing wrong with the occasional television show, I feed my mind primarily with books, programs and discussion that allow me to learn and grow.

I also nourish my soul with regular communion with my Creator. No matter how busy I am, I take a few minutes each day for prayer and meditation. I meet regularly with other spiritually minded people because I know, together, we can help each other achieve greater depth and understanding.

My healthy lifestyle helps those around me. This is my greatest reward.

Finding ways to improve my life is important to me.

I take steps toward living a better life by making healthy lifestyle choices. When I find wholesome choices that I want to incorporate into my life, I am eager to share these discoveries with my friends and family. Using my healthy lifestyle to help those around me is a great reward.

Fueling my body with healthful foods is vital because I want to feel energized and strong. Making good eating choices is easy when I make a firm commitment to myself.

When I buy groceries, I fill my cart with fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grain breads and pastas. I also find new recipes that will make my family feel nourished and satisfied.

Choosing balanced meals and trying healthful recipes makes me feel proud. Sharing these discoveries with my friends and family is rewarding because I am excited to see them benefit from my healthy lifestyle.

Exercising is just another way for me to share a healthy lifestyle with others.

When I find a new exercise class, I invite a friend to join me. When I take walks in the evening, I ask my partner to accompany me. When there is a pleasant day, I take my children to the park. Feeling invigorated by exercise and rejuvenated by fresh air is a gift I am happy to share with my loved ones.

My greatest reward is helping those around me live a healthy lifestyle. I am proud when I see my family and friends are on the pathway to living long and healthy lives. I am so glad that my loved ones benefit from my healthy choices.

Healing flows through my body when I take a night out to do things I enjoy.

Relaxation is important to my well-being. I take a night off each month to do something I enjoy because I know this leads to greater health and productivity. When I work, I do so with all my heart, and when I relax, I allow myself to be equally present and engaged with the activity at hand.

Sometimes I choose to watch a movie with friends. Sometimes I relish a hike through the woods. Other times, I simply prefer to stay home, curled up with a book.

Whatever I choose to do, taking time for myself renews my energy. When I go back to my routine tasks, I find myself more focused and productive, with a better perspective on the stressors in my life.

I am better able to deal with challenges that come up in my daily life when I have time set aside for relaxation. I am unapologetic about taking this time out because I know relaxation makes me a better person, more competent and better able to meet the needs of those around me when I return.

It doesn’t matter what others tell me is a good use of my relaxation time. The point is that I, myself, thoroughly enjoy whatever I am doing and I engage in my own personal relaxation wholeheartedly, without guilt.

I wholly accept stress in my life. My body is learning to use stress as a motivator.

I accept that stress in an inevitable part of my life and I let go of the idea that I can fight against it and make it disappear. Instead, I recognize it as a valuable asset in my life, one that my body is learning to use as a motivational tool. 

I appreciate the way that stress makes me get up off my seat and take action. Stress alerts me when something needs to be addressed so I can stay on top of situations that I might otherwise be tempted to ignore or forget.

In healthy doses, stress sharpens my focus so I can concentrate and be more productive on the task at hand. It makes me more acutely aware of what is going on around me and equips me to absorb information and make good use of it.

I treat stress as an ally and work with it, rather than against it. However, I resist the impulse to ignore my stress until it has grown to the point that it has lost its beneficial nature and has begun to take a toll on my health and well-being.

By paying attention to my body’s signals, I can tell that stress is no longer being productive and that it has gone beyond the stage where it is encouraging me. When this happens, I view it as a sign to step back, relax, and regroup. Then, when I have done so, I can carry on, with stress in its rightful place as a healthy partner in my life.

I have the ability to moderate the portions of food, work, stress, and time on my plate.

I manage my time effectively and proportionately for all areas of my life. My time is precious to me and I am proud of my ability to manage my time without neglecting any areas in my life.

I take the time to make sure the foods I eat are healthy and I take the time to prepare and enjoy them.

I manage my time at work so I can accomplish my tasks efficiently and professionally.

I take the time to relax and relieve my daily stress so I can be recharged and rejuvenated.

I guard my energy level and make sure it stays high enough to accomplish my tasks without feeling exhausted.

My time is precious and I am worth managing it well. My life is more effective overall and I am better able to enjoy my life because all the areas are included.

I feed my energy by eating well and relaxing as well as getting exercise. I reduce stress by relaxing and making sure my time at work is well spent. I am able to be efficient and effective at work because I am well nourished and de-stressed.

As I manage my time well, I am improving every area of my life because everything is connected.

Today I will make sure I have planned my time wisely and have left nothing out. I will take the time to eat healthy foods, manage my time at work, take time to relax and feed my energy level. I love myself by managing my time.
